Bike Amnesty month has finished

The Play on Pedals June bike amnesty has finished and we are very happy to announce we now have around 100 second hand bikes to add into our bike fleet for early years.

Here’s the ‘ordered chaos’ of donations ready to be serviced by mechanics at the Glasgow Bike Station.

After the summer, an application procedure will be launched for nurseries who have already delivered an 8 week training programme to apply for a fleet of these bikes.

A big thank you to all organisations who took part, including Glasgow Life for promoting drop off points across the city.

Of course, the amnesty never really stops and so if you have a small child’s bike to donate, you can drop it off at the Glasgow Bike Station from Tues – Sat 10-5pm.
